Currently, our camps are for all K1 – K3 students, and focus on a fun, creative, full immersion approach to learning. We at Three Little Fridges believe that it is very important to stimulate creativity in children. It opens up new avenues of thinking which in turn can release new avenues of development later on in life. It also provides a lot of enjoyment.
Furthermore, our camps also expose children to various activities e.g. Art, Drama, Music, Cooking, Swimming, Recycling, Sport and Science. Children get to experience one or two activities every day from Monday to Friday. In Art they use their hands and create different objects. In Drama they make fantastical masks, play with finger puppets and do role-play. In Music they learn a theme-based English song written especially for this camp by our Three Little Fridges songwriter. In Cooking they get to do very basic baking and makingof tasty treats which they can take home. In Swimming they have lots of fun splashing and playing in the water with the English teacher. Swimming however, is only for K2 and K3 students. In Recycling they learn about protecting our planet by making wonderful things out of recycled materials. In Sport they have an opportunity to play a variety of ball games. In Science they do very basic experiments mostly with household products. Everything, of course, happens in English.
This is a total immersion course, which means that all these activities take place in an English environment under the guidance of native English speakers with English as the main medium for communication. It is a fun way for children to learn to express themselves creatively without really realizing that they are learning English as well.
