As the floodwaters became more destructive, Three Little Fridges Ltd. (TLF), comprised of five friends, decided to do their part to help the Thai people. Despite the threat of floods in their own neighborhood, TLF acted quickly to initiate with the world in helping Thailand. Using their energy, resources and time, they set out to produce a song and music video.
“Work was suspended in order to prepare for the oncoming floods so instead of helping with the usual relief work, we decided to do what we do best and create something that would be useful to the Thai people after the water has drained – during a time when daily life would have to be restored and money would be extra tight”, said company’s spokesperson, Delia Pereria. “We decided to record a song and make a music video about the floods. Using our own set of talents, we went into the flooded areas and shot a lot of our own footage, used our company studio to record the song and went into our green screen room to video eve singing the song. After a lot of arranging and editing we were able to put the video on YouTube and release the song on iTunes and Amazon MP3.
“We are very pleased to release this song and see it as an opportunity to make it easy for people around the world to give a small part of their resources to Thailand,” said Ms. Pereria. “All you have to do is buy a song on iTunes or Amazon, which I think is a great addition to one’s music library.”
“Someone in this World,” is the song and the performing artist is eVe. The song is for sale on iTunes and Amazon. 100% of the sales will go directly to the people.
TLF escaped the floods but thousands did not. They extend this invitation to everyone to help Thailand and dedicate “Someone in this World” by eVe, to the victims of the Thai floods of 2011.
