Frank Pereira was born and raised in Potchefstroom, South Africa, where he also completed his BA Degree at the Potchefstroom University for CHE in 1993. He majored in Theatre Science, Theatre Practice, and Speech and Oral Interpretation. He also received a Certificate in Camera Acting Techniques - Characters Casting. (1997)

In 1999 he, together with his wife, traveled to Taiwan where they taught English for 2 years. After that they traveled to New York, USA where they spent 2 years studying and absorbing the American culture.

Frank has been teaching for 10 years and has taught both acting and English to students between the ages of 3 and a half and 55 years old. He has also performed in various international films, stage productions and television programmes. In addition to this, he is a director, writer and designer of various stage and puppet productions as well. He is also a painter and amateur carpenter. He is currently functioning as Artistic Director at Three Little Fridges, Ltd.

He has many interests including the theater, stand-up comedy, reading, photography, creating art from found objects, the Internet and other media as well as visual collage using Photo Shop.

Frank is a teacher with a broad based education who has lived on three continents. He is extremely creative and this, coupled with his lively teaching style and trained story telling and communicative gifts, distinguishes him as a teacher who can hold the interest of his students. He is self-motivated in his work and, in addition to this, works well unsupervised. He is adaptable and can adjust existing programs according to his student's needs. He responds well to challenges and believes that his wide field of interests and expertise enables him to empower his students by broadening their academic horizons.
