Lizelle Ahlström was born and raised in South Africa. She completed a Diploma for Executive and Legal Secretarial Studies and also completed several computer courses including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Lizelle has been caring for children since her high school years. She taught weekly lessons at her local church to twelve year olds. She supervised activities and creative involvement at an annual bazaar. She also took care of children, informally, over a period of more than three years. The children ranged from ages 2 to 11. This included helping out informally at a formal primary educational institution. She has also participated as an overseer at community events regarding outings for children.
After completing her training she worked as a legal secretary in South Africa for five years.
Lizelle relocated to London in 1999 and worked in various personal assistant positions for four years. Lizelle is currently living in Bangkok and has been living in Thailand since 2003.
In Thailand she has been an English Conversation Teacher for 11 year-olds at Bankamala Primary School in Phuket. She is currently teaching English Conversation at Chindapong Primary School for Prathom 1 - 6.
Whilst Lizelle had been following the discipline as a professional Personal Assistant/Legal Secretary she developed significant skills such as office administrating, working on various Word packages, assisting and training staff with various computer skills as well as specific people skills.
She has an auto didactical approach to life and believes that change enriches the individual. She enjoys the challenge of obtaining new skills and endeavours to enrich herself continually through broadening her horizons.
She is at a stage in her life where she would like to realize her dreams - thus she would like to combine her professional skills with the education of children. She believes that she has a natural gift to teach. She is a compassionate and patient person who believes that one can empower a child through caring education. She is convinced that, given the opportunity, she will be able to provide a warm, safe and educational environment for her pupils.
