IMAGINATION     SELF-ESTEEM     FINE MOTOR SKILLS

An innovative course designed to help your child find his/her true artistic self. This theme is popular with many students as they get to find out about themselves by planning, designing and creating all forms of works of art using paint, glue, crayons, cardboard, paper and any other material available along with their own inspired abilities. The English teacher presenting this course is well-qualified and highly experienced in teaching art to students of all ages. A definite must for children who are interested in stimulated creativity with English as its foundation.

Imagination – Learning art increases a student’s imagination.  With an increased imagination a student will be more creative in his/her reading and writing skills.  Active imaginations helps develop a student’s self-control, concentration skills, and enhances the ability to problem solve. Plus, a dynamic imagination helps a child to develop his/her personality.

Fine Motor Skills – Fine motor skills are developed through our activities in many ways.  For example: molding clay, using scissors and painting, help children button their shirts, tie their shoes and write their names.  Developing fine motor skills will help students in school activities and in their daily activities, now and for the rest of their lives!

Self-esteem – Three Little Fridges’ art projects are a valuable opportunity for your children to say, “I can do it!”  When they receive praise for the finished product in art class, the students’ confidence will grow.  In this course, the students will learn how to express their personalities and make interesting things to take home each week.

In ART class the students will learn: Drawing, Coloring, Painting, Tearing, Cutting, Tracing, Gluing, Stamping, Mixing, Sculpting, Rubbing & Folding.

The little artists will learn new words, new phrases and will take home their very own art project every week!
